Cost per purchase is around $50. We tested several creatives before reaching this CPP, and it's still highly profitable because the offer is $99/month, with a lifetime value (LTV) of approximately $1,188 per customer per year. By continuously running ads, we're able to consistently grow the business.
For this campaign, we tested multiple copy variations, including: 5 variations of the primary text 5 variations of the CTA headline 5 variations of the description I also tested some AI UGC creatives, but static image ads performed significantly better in this industry.
Most of our winning ads were inspired by competitors such as Feedbird, and those strategies have been consistently effective for over a year. It seems Meta's algorithm continues to favor these types of proven creative formats, especially when they're adapted and tested with multiple messaging variations.

The CPL for this campaign is around $10–$15, and we've generated more than 1,000 leads for insurance campaign. Location is a major factor as well. We also tried running the same angle and approach for other insurance campaigns, but this particular ads has consistently performed very well.
In terms of sales, I don't have much control over that side of the business, but in most cases, the results depend heavily on the sales team. That's why I constantly ask clients about metrics beyond what's shown in Ads Manager, such as: Lead pickup rate, Number of invalid phone numbers, Whether the leads are high-intent enough to convert, Appointment booking rate, Close rate.
These are critical metrics because they're not visible inside Meta Ads Manager, yet they determine whether your campaigns are truly profitable. It's important to ask your clients for this information so you can understand the actual return on ad spend (ROAS) and whether the ads are generating real business results.
At the end of the day, we don't just want leads, we want conversions. We want sales.

These are all lead generation campaigns. The reason they've been so effective is that we don't run ads that immediately try to sell a product or service. Instead, we provide something valuable first before making an offer. We offer a free demo, free eBook, or free course before upselling our products or services.
That's essentially how lead generation works, we offer something valuable in exchange for a prospect's contact details while also ensuring that the leads are high-intent and have a strong chance of converting into paying customers.
